First Day of School

So, school is finally here. Yesterday was the first day and boy was it gross. I don't know if I was anxious or what, but I woke up at 3 the night before and never did regain unconsciousness. I watched the time tick and waited for when I had to get up.
Longest Night Ever.
I finally made peace with the fact that I was done sleeping and pulled myself out of bed at 5. yucgh!
Besides that it was a pretty good day. I start at 7:30 and have 5 classes. I get out at 3:20 and then have to pick the boys up from my parents' house. Long day. I didn't get home until 4:30. The first day of school is never interesting either. We just go over the syllabus and play games. Ice breaker games are stupid. I'm an adult and I think I can decide for myself if I want to make friends in the class. (For those of you wondering, the answer is no. I would rather just get my work done and go home.)
Wow, I just read this back. What a negative post. I have been so excited for school and this is how I show it? I'm just exhausted. I will come back when I have something happier to write.

FHE

So, we're having family home evening on prayer last night. They boys are pretty good about listening and the lesson is only about 5 minutes. Anyway, Kyle is teaching and he asks Adam, "Do you know why we pray?" and Adam says "To go to bed".
haha. That was pretty funny. We usually remember to pray at meals too, but I guess he just hasn't caught on. Then Kyle asked him "And who do we pray to?" Adam replied, without a second's hesitation, "Caleb". =) I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!

Random Fun Pictures.

Dad playing with his boys

Random....

This is a poem about life sucking. Don't think I mean it seriously, please. Well, sure life does suck sometimes... but we all float on!

Sometimes when it starts to rain it really freaking pours.
The rains come down, the floods come up and beat down at your doors.
You start to feel that life just sucks and can't get any worse.
Then a mighty hurricane shows this is just the first.
I like to think of good old Job on his spacious heap;
I wonder if he'd scooch a bit so I could have a seat.

Swings

On Monday the boys and I met Kyle for lunch. We grabbed Taco Bell and went to the park. Always a hit, we got some cute pictures of the boys enjoying the swings.
